Avis has been Carbon Neutral© since 2000. This means we follow the principles of carbon offsetting. For every ton of CO2 produced Avis invests in ecological projects to compensate the emitted gasses. So far, Avis has offset over 75.000 tons of CO2. This is the equivalent of 15.000 cars less per year! Avis is to date the only Car Rental Company that has actively been trying to reduce its Carbon production.
