British Airways Gold Executive Club Members exclusive offer

Avis has been the exclusive car rental partner to British Airways since 1 April 2009. Avis services British Airways Executive Club Members, general passengers and British Airways staff.
Avis has developed a new product to offer exclusively to British Airways Gold Executive Club Members renting at Heathrow Airport, Terminal 5. This new product allows customers to pick up their Avis car right outside the Arrivals Hall at T5 Airport and bypass the shuttle bus and the Avis rental station entirely. At the end of their rental they are also able to park their hire car in the "Priority" spaces outside T5.
This customer is able to manage the check out of his rental independently (except if is first time renting as an Avis Preferred member, in which case an Avis agent will meet him at T5).
Promotion / Benefit to customer:
The customer can collect their rental car at the airport and bypass Avis Heathrow rental station. A considerable time-saving value-add for this consumer base made up exclusively of frequent travellers.
Priority Service audience:
British Airways Gold Executive Club Members, Gold Guest List members and Priority members.
Validity period:
- Valid on bookings made from 04/2010
- Valid for BA Gold Executive Club Members who are enrolled on Avis Preferred and have opted to sign a Master Rental Agreement. They must have an existing "Priority" reservation with Avis Heathrow and be arriving at T5.
- Only valid for customers who have booked through the dedicated Microsite either through an Avis call centre agent or directly on avis.co.uk/priority
Terms and Conditions
- "Priority Rental Service" is only available to British Airways Gold Executive Club Members who are enrolled on Avis Preferred and who have opted to sign a Master Rental Agreement.
- "Priority Rental Service" only operates out of Avis Heathrow rental station and car parking spaces for this service are only available at T5.
- Reasonable endeavours will be made to accommodate all the Priority rental bookings that are received; however, Avis Heathrow reserve the right to decline the service during peak periods In this event, the customer's reservation will be honoured through the normal rental facilities.
- Qualifying reservations must include the British Airways Gold AWD number: N744400
- Qualifying reservations must include the customer's British Airways Executive Club membership number.
- Priority Rental bookings are only valid if they are made through the dedicated Microsite "www.avis.co.uk/priority" either directly by the customer or through a British Airways Call Centre Agent.
- Priority Rental bookings must be made at least 4 hours in advance of the customer arriving at T5 to pick up his rental car.
- If customers wish to modify or cancel a "Priority rental", they must contact Avis Heathrow directly on 08445 443 101
- Once they have collected their car keys from the key box, customers are responsible for ensuring the inner and outer doors of the key box are closed securely.
- Customers are responsible for checking their car for any unrecorded damage and reading through their rental agreement before they begin their rental. Customers must call Avis Heathrow immediately if there is a problem 08445443101
- Once they have completed their rental, customers are fully responsible for returning their car to the Priority Rental parking spaces.
- Customers are fully responsible for putting their ticket into the rental wallet and then placing this on the dashboard, locking the car, placing the keys in a "drop off" box and ensuring that both the inner door and outer door are closed securely. If the customer has problems doing any of these steps they must contact Avis Heathrow on 08445 443 101.
- The vehicle remains the responsibility of the customer if these procedures are not followed.
